So useful! Written for solo travelers but any traveler (even experienced as I am ) could pick up extra tips from it. The layout is easy. Each piece of information is set out as a separate heading. Some in boxes. Some in lists. Some just jottings. Breaks down the feeling of “I have this book to read before I go off traveling.” It is so easy just to dip into whenever you feel like it.
Deciding to go exploring – why you would go by yourself. It helps you to identify what you really want to achieve with this solo trip rather than going by yourself just because no one else was free to travel with you
Before you go – assists you in identifying what YOU actually want to do and see while you are away. Ensuring that you know clearly what you want to do at each of your destinations so bookings can be made and other activities planned around these. Considering your budget, how to best pack, what vaccinations may be needed are other valuable topics.
On the road – addresses loneliness, how to document your trip and how to be a responsible traveler are just some of the topics covered in this section. Very clear. Very sensible. Very easy to manage advice.
I found this book so valuable. So easy to read and yet contained amazing tips and tricks. Would definitely recommend to not only to new solo travelers but even those of you, like me, who have made many travel mistakes.
